Catalog description

Prepares the student for certification as a pediatric advanced life support provider as defined by the American Heart Association. Covers primary assessment and emergency care of infants and children. Lecture 1 hour per week. Total 1 hour per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
