Catalog description

Studies the identification and selection of lubricants for aircraft powerplants; inspection, service, troubleshooting and repair of the lubrication systems and components; identification and nomenclature of aircraft propellers; and operation, control and repair of both reciprocating and turbine propeller installations. Laboratory 4 hours per week. Total 4 hours per week. Co-requisite or Prerequisite: AMT 251 . An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
