Catalog description

For students beginning the study of Spanish, this course emphasizes development of basic communicative skills through practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Stresses vocabulary and grammar to enhance students' ability to speak and write in Spanish. Study of customs and values provides an increased awareness of Spanish speaking cultures. On completion students are expected to participate in uncomplicated conversations on everyday topics.
