Catalog description

This course introduces the principles of pharmacology, including drug classifications and their effects on the body. Emphasis is on the use of the components of the nursing process when administering medications. This course is designed for first semester nursing students enrolled in the technical or associate degree programs as well as those nurses interested in updating their knowledge of the principles of pharmacology.
