Catalog description
An English elective focusing on women in the humanities. The primary concern of the class will be women in literature, but will also touch on the roles of women in other areas such as history, science, art, etc. This reading and discussion intensive course is designed to introduce students to the often-overlooked contributions of women throughout history to the world in which we live. Prerequisite: Students must meet the criteria under either (a) or (b) as follows: (a) ACT Reading score of 19+, Next Gen Accuplacer score of 253+, or (b) Completion of READ 0033 with a grade of "C" or higher.
