Catalog description
2 cr. hrs.; 1 lecture hour; 2 lab hours per week. Prerequisite: Admission to PTA program. Study of the biophysical principles, physiological effects on body tissues, and safe application of therapeutic physical agents. The use of superficial and deep thermal modalities to mitigate pain and promote tissue healing is emphasized.
