Catalog description

3 cr. hrs.; 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week. This class will train the student in the basic blood drawing procedures for both venipuncture and dermal puncture techniques. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have an understanding of the skills, knowledge, and level of responsibility required to perform professionally and competently as entry-level phlebotomy/lab personnel.
