Catalog description
8 cr. hrs.; 7 lecture hours; 3 lab hours per week. Prerequisite: Applicants must be at least 16 years old and at least an 8th grade education This course provides the nurse assistant students with knowledge, understanding and skills to function as a responsible member of the health team. Students combine theory with practical application to various health care situations. Additional emphasis has been incorporated regarding the aging process, problems of the aged, and death and dying.
