Catalog description
3 cr. hrs.; 3 lecture hours; 0 lab hours per week. Prerequisites: Appropriate placement score, or MATH 070 grade of "A"; or MATH 091 "C" or better Math for General Education contributes to the general education of any college student. The course focuses on mathematical reasoning and solving contemporary problems. Topics include mathematics of finance, statistics, and one of the following: sets and logic, counting and probability, game theory, linear programming, geometry, mathematical modeling, or graph theory. Graduation credit will not be granted for both MATH 110 and MATH 110C. IAI: M1 904.
