Catalog description
3 cr. hrs.; 3 lecture hours; 0 lab hours per week. This course will introduce students to achieving health equity, managing stress, healthy food choices and ability to evaluate healthy relationships. Current issues in society today will be discussed, such as preventing violence, communication, and overdose. In addition, chronic health diseases and family history are discussed and a plan for prevention is developed. The student will complete a personal wellness plan.
