Catalog description
2 cr. hrs.; 1 lecture hour; 2 lab hours per week. A study of the equine industry. Special reports on select current topics. Part of class time will be utilized by visiting lecturers. Occasionally, a dinner meeting may be held. Required of full-time equine students. Comprehensive study of the horse’s foot, its function, anatomy, care, shoeing, related problems, and techniques of corrections.
