1 cr. hrs.; 0 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week. Prerequisite: BIOL 250 or concurrent enrollment in BIOL 250 Laboratory course accompanying BIOL 250 to satisfy general education requirements in life science. This course will cover fundamental principles in genetics including cell and molecular biology, chromosome structure and function, inheritance, population genetics and evolution, DNA structure and function, bioinformatics and biotechnology.
