Catalog description

5 cr. hrs.; 4 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week. One semester survey of human anatomy and physiology tailored to occupational therapy assistant and physical therapist assistant programs. All human organ systems are covered with emphasis on skeletal, muscular, cardiovascular, and nervous systems. This course may be suitable for certain other health-related programs but is not equivalent to the Anatomy and Physiology I and II course sequence taken by students pursuing nursing and pre-professional health programs like pre-medicine.
