4 cr. hrs.; 3 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week. Introductory biology course intended for non-science majors. This course provides an introduction to important biological principles including chemistry of life, molecular biology, cell structure and function, cell division, cell metabolism, genetics and heredity, organismal structure and function, diversity, evolution and ecology.
