Catalog description

3 cr. hrs.; 2 lecture hours; 2 lab hours per week. A study of management practices necessary for efficient and economical livestock production. This course emphasizes the practical application of health, reproduction, and facility management across major livestock species. Students will evaluate real-world scenarios and develop management decisions that improve the performance, efficiency, and sustainability of livestock operations.
