Catalog description
0.5 cr. hrs.; 0.5 lecture hours; 0 lab hours per week. The study of the role of chemicals commonly used in agricultural production, including insecticides, herbicides, seed treatments, and livestock chemicals. Emphasis is placed on the identification of weeds, insects, and plant diseases, as well as the prevention, control, and eradication of these problems. Laboratory exercises focus on weed and insect scouting, procedures used in handling and applying chemicals, and comparisons of various pest management practices. Continuation of AG 136.
