Catalog description

Credits: 3 Corequisite: Concurrent registration in, or previous successful completion of, SCNC 102L . Typically Offered: FALL This course will cover topics in basic physics and physical geology. The physics portion of the class will cover linear motion, force and momentum. We will also cover sound and light waves. Geology will cover minerals, rocks, the rock cycle, plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes and geologic time.
