Credits: 3 Prerequisite: BADM 202 . Typically Offered: SPRING This course examines the management of systems and processes that create goods and/or services. Quantitative modeling techniques are used to analyze the operations and control processes associated with productivity, capacity, and quality assurance. Other topics explored include forecasting, inventory control, facility management, process technology and design as well as cost and waste reduction. Sustainable business practices as applied to operations are also addressed.
