Hemodialysis II Laboratory

Catalog description

Credits: 1 Prerequisites: AH 110 , AH 110L , HPER 210 , NURS 100 or PLA. Corequisite: AH 120 . Typically Offered: FALLSPR AH 120L , in conjunction with AH 120 , provides a supervised lab experience in which the student applies the theories in the care of dialysis clients. The student will apply the theories and principles of dialysis in the lab setting. Emphasis is placed on the role and responsibilities of the dialysis technician in the outpatient dialysis center.
