Credits: 3 Prerequisite: ACCT 201 . Typically Offered: FALL The basics of data analytics are introduced including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive statistics, and data visualization. Focus will be on using the financial statements to understand where the business is currently and help it determine where it can get to. A key component of instruction is an emphasis on hands on practice with data analysis projects. Techniques examined emphasize applicability in multiple organizational sectors including business, healthcare, and technology.
