Catalog description
This course includes a review of health care delivery systems. Course focus is on information management practices of agencies that provide health services in ambulatory care, home health care, hospice, long term care, mental health, and other alternate care systems. Student competency includes the ability to describe and contrast the structure of health services in relation to operational and accrediting agency standards, and the role of the health informatin practitioner in each of these settings.
