Catalog description
This course is a study of various types of written documents required in scientific, technical, and other specialized fields. Emphasis is placed on the production of such documents, including research, documentation, graphical displays, the abstract, appropriate diction, grammar, punctuation, and audience. Students will demonstrate the ability to produce effective reports, letters, memoranda, and similar documents. Prerequisite(s): Appropriate score on the English section of ACT COMPASS or equivalent
