Catalog description

Students will learn mathematical concepts designed to develop basic application skills. The course focuses on graph theory, introduction to statistics, linear regression, probability, voting systems, fair division and apportionment, identification numbers, encryption, patterns, and finance models. Also, the course will implement the computation a nd conversion of whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and square roots. The lessons in this course are filled with practical exercises and information that students can put to immediate use as BMETs. .
