(30 lecture, 30 lab, 0 ext.) This course is designed to enhance the students understanding of Servers. They will develop an understanding of basic server installation, management and troubleshooting servers. The student will be able to identify essential hardware and software technologies of on-premises and hybrid server environments including high availability, cloud computing and scripting. They will be able to diagnose and resolve common hardware and software issues by applying troubleshooting skills or providing appropriate customer support. The student will be able to summarize server infrastructure, services, virtualization cloud computing, and security. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Server + Exam.
