Catalog description

This course will provide the fundamentals to be successful in college. It will provide students with the tools necessary to excel in their academic/professional and personal lives to ensure they are well-rounded and socially responsible students. Additionally, the course will focus on community and engagement and will provide a collaborative and inclusive space for students to be in community with other engineering and computer science scholars. The topics introduced will focus on the four pillars of the Watson College Scholars Program (WCSP): academic achievement, professionalism, networking, and community service. It will also introduce various concepts related to principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging. Prerequisites: Open only to students in the Watson College Scholars Program (WCSP).
