This course prepares writing tutors for the Writing Center. It provides ongoing theoretical and practical training. Applicants should have second-semester sophomore standing, should be outstanding writers themselves with a strong knowledge of writing strategies and conventions, and should be interested in working with people. Requires approved application for the position of tutor. Offered fall and spring semesters. Variable credit, usually 4 credits or 2 credits.
