MUS THEA II: Scene Study

Catalog description

Advanced course exploring score/lyric analysis, vocal technique, and performance styles of musical theatre. Students will be exposed to a full range of musical theatre styles, literature, composers, and lyricists. The course will include song preparation, audition technique, and partner/ensemble work. Students will be required to perform regularly. Repeatable. Prerequisites: THEA 315 and THEA 308, or consent of instructor. Offered spring semesters.
