Catalog description
This course offers engaging classes that introduce students to the fundamentals of Latin dance rhythms from Caribbean and Latin American countries. Students will learn popular dances such as Salsa, Rumba, Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha, and Reggaeton, performed in various local settings, while also gaining an understanding of their cultural significance and relevance today. The class begins with a warm-up, followed by dance steps and routines that gradually increase in difficulty. It is suitable for all skill levels. This class provides a great workout, helps students learn about music and rhythm, enhances body awareness in various dance styles, and boosts their confidence. Offered regularly.
