Description: Basic tap technique, terminology and rhythm. Covers beginner-level skills and tap history. Offers physical exercise, along with the introduction to the art of tap dancing. For majors and non-majors. Both 2 credit sections can be taken in the same semester. Repeatable. Meets two times per week. Experience helpful but not necessary. Can take concurrently with THEA 223 (02). THIS COURSE IS APPROPRIATE FOR FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS.
