Catalog description

This course introduces students to the basic skills of musicianship that are required of musical theatre performers. These include music theory, piano skills, sight-singing, ear-training, and the introductory tools that will lay the foundation for more advanced work in these areas in later courses. This course is required for students in the BFA musical theatre program and should be taken during their first semester. Offered in fall.
