Catalog description

This course aims to inculcate a comprehensive understanding of additive manufacturing (AM), and will address the following consequential aspects of AM: (1) Materials and Process Mechanics; (2) Machines, Machine Design, and Mechanisms; (3) Quality control, Sensing, and Process Monitoring; and (4) Design for AM and novel trans-disciplinary applications. Prerequisites: Graduate standing or permission of the instructor. Offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters.
