This course is intended to provide an overview of healthcare finance and the current financial environment for the healthcare industry and to learn how to apply engineering economics to healthcare financial management. It will provide information on financial and managerial accounting and how the use of Systems Science and Industrial and Systems Engineering principles can be applied to financial management concepts to allow for health-related organizations to make sound business decisions.
