Advanced Behavioral Interventi

Catalog description

In this course, special education teacher candidates will examine the issues, process, and practices involved with supporting students with significant emotional and behavioral concerns. Topics addressed include legal and ethical foundations, assessment, behavioral data collection and analysis, targeted and intensive interventions (MTSS Tier 2 and 3 behavioral supports), and proactive responses to student behavioral concerns.
