Courses offered under this rubric explore subjects related to fields within Hispanic Linguistics. Previous courses include Spanish Sociolinguistics, Spanish Phonetics and Phonology, Spanish Syntax and Morphology, History of the Spanish Language, Spanish in the United States, and Discourse Analysis. Prerequisites: A 300-level Spanish course, preferably SPAN 351. May be repeated for credit if topic is different.
