Catalog description
Developed at the intersection of history and art, this course explores selected literary readings that reflect cultural developments in Spain and Latin American from the Middle Age to the present. The texts are organized around compelling thematic axes that allow students to reflect on continuations and ruptures throughout time. Builds on the skills and knowledge developed in SPAN 344, this course furthers analytical skills and clarity of thinking as a means of developing expression in the target language. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: SPAN 344 or equivalent or instructors’ permission. This can be taken simultaneously with SPAN 360. Offered regularly.
