Catalog description

This course is a detailed exploration of the speech and language production system and hearing mechanism with relation to the auditory environment and perception of speech. Information on aerodynamic and acoustic parameters of speech, anatomy and physiology of the speech and hearing mechanisms, the neural basis of speech, language, and hearing and finally the speech perception system is provided during this course. The course is designed with lab experiences so students can get hands-on practice.
