Catalog description
Master of Arts in Teaching students engage in teaching internships in area schools in the fall semester. This internship will include a full semester in either a middle school or a high school placement. Submission of a teacher performance assessment will be required by the end of the fall semester. Graded S/U only. Pre-requisite: Successful completion of core program coursework (e.g., SEC 500, SEC 510, SEC 593 [discipline-specific], SEC 502, SPED 500, LTRC 519) as approved by the program and two semesters of field work associated with these courses (i.e., 1 day/week and 1 full-time week or equivalents). Offered: fall.
