SEC 590Internship in Teaching I

Master of Arts in Teaching students engage in teaching internships in area schools in the fall semester. This internship will include a full semester in either a middle school or a high school placement. Submission of a teacher performance assessment will be required by the end of the fall semester. Graded S/U only. Offered: fall. 3 credits. Pre- requisite: Successful completion of at least four core program coursework (SEC 500, SEC 510, SEC 593 [discipline-specific], SEC 502, SPED 500, and/or LTRC 519) as approved by the program advisor and two semesters of fieldwork associated with these courses (i.e., 1 day/week and 1 full-time week or equivalents).
