SEC 542Math for Secondary Teachers II

This course is to provide students with a conceptual understanding of two key content areas in middle and high school mathematics standards: geometry and probability & statistics. The course will focus on solving problems using multiple solution methods, mathematical reasoning, and appropriate technological tools. This course also requires students to justify their thinking multiple representations (e.g., gestures, pictorial, symbolically). Instructor approval required. Offered: fall or spring. 4 credits.
