Catalog description
Framed by current research and theory on adolescent psychology and behavior management, this 3-credit course presents culturally responsive practices that address the diversity in today’s secondary classrooms. Through classroom projects, application of knowledge to fieldwork, and analytical responses to the readings, students will demonstrate skills in applying culturally responsive practices that address the needs of all adolescents and enhance relational development to impact student learning in a diverse classroom. Offered: spring.
