Catalog description

This course explores the various professional skills needed to work in higher education through a combination of in-class and hands-on experience in various functional areas. While exploring career options, students will also learn how each functional area fits within the larger university, the types of work in each functional area, and the skills required. Prerequisite: admission into a recognized graduate program at Binghamton University, or consent of the HESA department chair. Offered: spring only.
