Catalog description

The capstone course offers students the opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in Russian language, their grasp of Russia’s cultural history and movements, and their ability to deal substantively with a specific topic of interest to them. The course will center around the development of a major project over the course of the semester. Students will be expected to do considerable amounts of work independently, to collaborate in groups, and to participate actively in shaping the course. Prerequisites: RUSS 204, RUSS 210, at least one upper division RUSS course (not including RUSS 305/306). Offered regularly.
