Provides advanced understanding of argumentative styles both within and outside policy making, always with an emphasis on their political and ethical implications. Introduces moral, political and post-modern philosophers and rhetorical critics as these intersect with the world of politics. Students participate in debates, travel to debate tournaments to compete against other universities and represent Binghamton on the policy debate circuit. (
