Catalog description
This course examines how different media forms (such as podcasting) create meaning, emotion, context, and excitement in their work. Examining different genres and techniques, we will explore critical issues, themes, and trends in specific media to understand how and why they are impactful. This is not a production class. Rather, students will examine, talk about, analyze, and write about specific media, and will leave with an understanding of how–and why–they work. (
