PUBP 502: Policy Research Methods I This online asynchronous course covers policy research methods. Students will learn how to develop research questions, generate testable hypotheses, measure variables, select appropriate research designs, collect and analyze data in statistical packages, and communicate findings to different audiences. Topics include descriptive statistics, survey design, inferential statistics, and data science. To ensure application of policy research methods, this course requires substantial analysis of policy datasets using data science software packages.
