Clinical Education III
Binghamton University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course is a student’s final full-time placement in a clinical environment which can be in a variety of settings, practice areas or geographic locations (assuming all programmatic requirements are met). The experience should culminate with the student being entrusted with independence with all professional activities as indicated by achieving “always” in the professional behaviors section and “at that level” in the patient management section of the CIET. It is expected that degree of supervision is significantly removed and the student is performing autonomously with only intermittent or distant oversight. This course is offered in the spring semester, year 3.
