Clinical Education II

Catalog description

This course is a student’s second full time placement. The experience provides students with continued opportunities to apply knowledge and skills from prior coursework and to be challenged to explore more advanced theories and treatment procedures. It is expected that degree of supervision is reduced from their first experience yet remains consistent with patient complexity and/or student abilities. The student should progress to independence with simple and less complex patients and diagnoses. This course is offered in the summer semester, year 3.
