Catalog description

This Capstone course in the Professional Development series is intended to prepare the student to transition successfully into professional practice. Understanding and valuing the role of the Clinical Instructor, valuing and creating a personal professional development plan, developing a job seeking strategy, drafting a resume and cover letter, developing interviewing skills, planning for the NPTE exam, preparing to repay student loans and strategies for identifying a mentor are covered in this course. This course is offered in the spring semester, year 3.
