Catalog description

This course covers the examination, evaluation and intervention for persons with movement disorders resulting from neurologic injury or disease of the central nervous system that includes etiology, pathology, clinical signs and symptoms, diagnostic procedures and medical and physical therapy management. Examination, evaluation, intervention strategies and standardized assessments pertinent to the management of patients with neurological injury/disease. The physical therapist, as a critical member of the interprofessional healthcare team, will be addressed. This course is offered in the spring semester, year 2.
