Phys Agents & Electro Interv

Catalog description

Prepares students to safely and effectively select, prescribe and apply therapeutic modalities as a component of the physical therapy plan of care. In addition, students will be expected to identify the contraindications, precautions and physiological effects of the therapeutic modalities and be able to modify, progress or discontinue use based upon patient response and progress. This course is offered in the fall semester, year 2.
