Essentials of Ther Exercise

Catalog description

This course is designed to prepare students to be able to assess patient/client status in order to prescribe patient-centered therapeutic exercise interventions aligned with impairments and activity restrictions identified during examination. Students are also expected to be able to demonstrate, instruct, progress and adapt exercises to specific patient needs and to be able to assess response to exercise. This course is offered in the spring semester, year 1.
